Shannon McNally is a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, guitar shredder, and one of the most vibrant lyricists in today's music scene.  Shannon just wrapped up an album with the legendary Nashville based, singer/songwriter Rodney Crowell, which hit the streets in May, 2017 on the Compass Records Label, and is currently in the top ten on the Americana Charts. Among her many projects was the highly acclaimed “Coldwater” disc which was grounded in her love for J.J. Cale and tastefully blended classic rock, blues, soul and country music, while featuring keys from the late, great Jim Dickinson (Rolling Stones, Ry Cooder). The disc was lauded in the review by the All Music Guide as “her masterpiece.”  Her recent recording, Small Town Talk, a loving, collaborative tribute to the late Bobby Charles, was conceived and created together with the great Dr. John and his Lower 911 Band. Off Beat Magazine nominated the collection for Album of the Year in 2014. A player's player, Shannon has shared the stage with a who's who of rock, country and soul: Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Vince Gill, Levon Helm, Charlie Sexton, Dr. John, Rufus Wainwright, Anders Osbourne, Luther and Cody Dickinson, Greg Leisz, and Derek Trucks.  Her performance on The Source: LIVE features contributions from the award winning duo of Cedric Burnside and Trent Ayers, the noted guitarist Audley Freed (Peter Frampton, The Black Crowes, The Eagles, Dixie Chicks) and the rock solid bassist Eric Deaton (T-Model Ford, Big Bad Smitty, among others).
